Pinellas county located on the West coast of Florida is almost entirely surrounded by water. As of the 2005 census, there were approximately 925,000 people living here!

Tampa Bay constitutes the three city areas of Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater and offers an abundance of activities. There are beautiful white sandy beaches, fabulous sunsets, and world class boating. Busch Gardens is nearby and Disneyland is a relatively short drive away! The Tampa Bay Performing Art Center, Ruth Eckerd Hall, and the Mahaffey Theater call Tampa Bay home as well as home of the Florida Orchestra. We are proud of our Skyway Sunshine Bridge which is one of the world’s largest cable stayed bridges in the world. Tampa International Airport is ranked as one of the top "traveler" friendly airports in the world and offers non-stop flights to 76 destinations! The International Mall and the West Shore Malls are nearby as well as clusters of shopping for your convenience throughout the county. We have the University of South Florida (USF) which is the third largest university in the Southeast. St Petersburg College, Tampa University, and Stetson Law School to name a few!

The Tampa Bay area’s predominately humid and sunny days are complimented by cool bay breezes. Tampa and St. Petersburg’s daily average high temperature is 82 ºF (28 ºC), while Clearwater’s average is a close 81ºF (27ºC). During the spring months of March, April and May and into the fall months of September, October and November, the area's daytimes are comfortably warm while the evenings can be a bit cooler. The summer months of June, July and August provide brighter days and short afternoon showers. The annual daily temperature for the area is 73ºF (23ºC). Loose clothing, a hat and sunscreen are recommended for daytime activities, while a light jacket may be necessary for evening activities near the water.
